This book contains: 1) A suggested Choral Catalogue for the preparatory level singer. 2) A brief description of the ICC organization and philosophy. 3) Our Preparatory Division Curriculum Guide and materials list. 4) Over 70 pages of theory and solfege worksheets and sight reading materials for reproduction in your classroom or choir. 5) All materials are Kodaly based and include folk songs and simple arrangements. Though these materials are used by the ICC for 2nd and 3rd graders, much can be used with the beginning level singer in grades 1 to 5. Copyright for this book is given for the individual music and classroom teacher to reproduce the activity sheets. Reproduction of these materials for an entire school, corporation or more than one community choir is strictly forbidden. |
